I've never heard of anyone buying an allocation to resell a vehicle that has a yearly target of 500k vehicles lol. That's like putting an early deposit down to get a new generation Corolla or a Civic.

I'm betting they won't even hit 100k the first year. So demand will outpace supply for a while so may be I should go queue up and make some cash.

Apparently that's not allowed. As per the Tesla forums they won't allow transfers of reservation slots. So you would have to buy it yourself then resell it to some third party. Frankly I'm convinced all these Tesla people are insane. Who the hell lines up to buy a car that won't be out for another 2+ years sight unseen?
