in a car it takes a lot more room and can cause a hell of a lot more damage... you just dont know till you have experienced how small a bike is and how easy it is to thread traffic, there is a reason lane splitting is legal (in some states) for BIKES and not for carsOriginally posted by killramos
So at worst, driver is doing exactly the same thing as the biker? Except when someone in a car pulls that shit it's news?
driving the way that fusion must have been driving to keep up would be beyond insane, like that scene in fnf2 where they are all bombing to the boat yard
You've had a bike, 130mph is nothing. And if you watch his tach, I don't think he redlined that bike once.Originally posted by shakalaka
I don't know how he wasn't pushing the bike to the limits. At one point he was going at 130mph.
Anyone who has a supersport and can't lose a family sedan, probably doesn't have good enough riding skills to even ride a bike like that. He's the reason sport bikes/riders get such a bad rep. Source: I grew up riding, and in my young stupid days did stuff like scat.
Perhaps I am not understanding you correctly. But what did you think lane splitting was?Originally posted by HiTempguy1
Both are equally shit-heads.
But I didn't realize "lane splitting" involved splitting lanes and then pulling in front of vehicles in another lane (as the biker did) once in front of everyone. I would be pissed if some asshole split lanes, then pulled in front of me, and then nonchalantly took off sloooooooowly when the light turned green.
However, I don't believe lane splitting is legal in Florida.
Both charged with reckless driving. Was it worth the 300% increase in your insurance boys?
And let's not forget the lives you put in jeopardy.

Thanks for the 14 years of LOLs. Govern yourselves accordingly and avoid uppercut reactions!
I sure hope he didnt have a insurance hard braking device in his car. hahahOriginally posted by Seth1968

There's a cop turning left in front of the bike right after he lane splits in front of the fusion at the lights.Originally posted by HiSpec

So much unnecessary escalations in this video. Europe is nice, because for the most part everyone understands that lane splitting reduces congestion. I love getting a leg or hand wave when I proactively make room for splitters on the auto route.

Dude was posting on reddit (where I originally saw it).
It's been geared down for more torque, so the top speed is lower than a typical sportbike. He also claims to lack skill to ride it fast.

I feel for the poor guy on the scooter when the biker splits between him and the Pepsi truck. Talk about wrong place at the wrong time.
The Daily Mail reports that commenters on the YouTube page said Roni had previously operated a page titled "Messing with Cars" that he has since deleted.
Two notes:
1) World's fastest Ford Fusion
OR
2) World's worst sport bike rider.
Anybody else bothered with how his ride side mirror was folded in?
Oh I certainly agree. I was more so just saying that at 200km/h he was certainly trying his best to evade. Perhaps he was just scared to go any faster.Originally posted by cjblair

He told the police he was scared for his life and the cop said he could have pulled over anytime. While I don't necessarily agree with that considering that other guy was being ridiculous and pulling over could mean the other guy beating the crap out of him. But while watching the video I did think as to why he didn't turn into some smaller roadways that were around there when he had lot of lead on the guy to lose him.
Anyway, it's funny watching that news video. Someone yells out to the biker, "did you make enough money from this video on youtube to afford an attorney"?
He should've just taken a turn when the fusion got ahead of him, there was ample opportunity especially where he was riding into opposing traffic.Originally posted by shakalaka

Hey baller, any problem money can solve is no problem at all. Don't sweat it.
Presumably you split the lane up to and including pulling away from the light. It completely defeats the purpose (lane splitting) if you are a lollygagging asshole who wastes peoples time sitting at the light and pulls in front of them.Originally posted by HiSpec
