I'm smellin what you're steppin in. The thing is, it's not really all about tools for me. I'm thinking other garage-stored items such as motorcycle helmets, lawn chair cushions, oil, seasonal storage, etc. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I already have a Maximum 32" roller chest for a pretty good chunk of my tools, but it's just a single level one. I never bought the next tiers that go on it, but it still holds like 75% of my tools. (Plus it appears whatever size mine actually is, it's discontinued, so I can't even get more tiers... Cunts...)
I just gotta get some of this shit off the floor, fuck my life.
How do you guys like those Husky rolling toolboxes? They are priced well and I definitely could use a much larger and mobile box in my garage. A worktop on it would help too, I have a cart I use but it’s not enough when I’m working on my cars.
I have a husky one. It holds tools has a worktop and looks good.
Haven’t had any issues but it doesn’t get heavy use.

Keep an eye out for a large file cabinet. Seems like it might fit what you are looking for. We got one for free from our community group. Works good for helmets and gear. Also got this cabinet from canadian tire that works well. It came with casters, but I wanted it taller. It's not enough for tools, but you have a seperate box, so you should be fine.
For a rolling tool box, I would strongly recommend Matco tools. Charlie is a God Damned legend. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I like mine, see’s reasonable action between the car and other dumb projects I decide on weekly. I’d recommend. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I also run old filing cabinets for power tools, paints, random crap. They’re absolutely deadly for the price usually.
Ya I think the one you got from me cost you ~1 case of lucky lager. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

My 48" with the wood top has been perfect for home use for just shy of a decade and I'm by no means easy on it. They aren't as well-built as other brands but unless you're a working mechanic who's in his box all day they're quite adequate. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I literally took a flat of Lucky Extra from a frat house at the UofA and pissed on their lids in the snow at the lamest party in recorded history. Shortly after, I jokingly struck a female with a large, inflatable Stanley Cup at that party and she attacked me with every Fibre of her being. She rained punches onto my face after pinning me down in a fit of incredible rage. And i laughed even though she really did connect with several of them!
It was the 9th greatest memory I have of a female absolutely losing her shit in a violent manner. Oh my Allah, did that ever make her angry!
*prolly cause I didn't realize the inflatable Stanley Cup had a base made of OSB...
I didn't hit her back, but man, she got more than a few in on me.
Indeed, and a great deal it was haha. I had a tall one, but I wanted a short one for under my bench, it was perrrrrfect. Top drawer is metal cutting tools and bottom is other power tools. You can man handle these things and they last. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I’ll drink lucky over 90% of the shit pumped out of craft breweries these days.

Has anyone had any luck with polyaspartic or epoxy prices coming down post-Covid? I want to get my garage done but when I was getting quotes during Covid they were 50% higher than when I did my last garage.
