Testing home for mold
Anyone have any suggestions for who to use to test for mold? I replaced the kitchen faucet recently due to a leak, I think it was leaking for quite a while. Just noticed a large water stain on the basement ceiling (we rarely use the basement). Although the leak is fixed I’m a bit worried about mold. Anyone have suggestions for companies who will come out and do an inspection/air test? Anything I should watch out for (ie scams). I don’t mind ripping out the ceiling. Previous owners did the basement themselves and did an embarrassing job...
