Looking to install a ring doorbell and ecobee soon, before I resort to trial and error, figured I would ask here first. Anyone know what switches control the doorbell/thermostat?
Thanks

furnace is normally a light switch near the furnace itself.
The pics are too small to read when zoomed in.
it's most likely one of the lighting ones, there's no way to 100% identify from the panel unless the electrician actually labelled it
Only the major ones are accurate on mine. Furnace should be label. See if there is even a switch by the furnace. Doorbell can be anything.
I couldn't find the one for my doorbell. I ended up just turning the whole house off.
Typically the Doorbell is run to a plug nearby the main electrical panel. Should be a big Square black plug, in a local outlet off the panel.. As far as the circuit number, might be worth some trial and error - Plus you can get a nice full description of all the electrical filled in if you properly log all the plugs/lights each circuit affects.
Thermostat runs off the furnace, so find that, usually close to furnace is a switch.
Doorbell run on 24V transformer usually, I wouldn't even bother disconnecting or powering that off, won't shock you. I never bothered

Thanks for the replies everyone.
It's probably going to be on one of your utility receptacles near the bottom of the panel. My transformer was on the breaker of the receptacle that it was beside. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Found my doorbell breaker via looking for the transformer, which was right beside the panel (might have been hooked right up to the outside of it?).This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
First go around, my Ring ended up fried. Not sure if it was because I did it without killing the breaker, or that I did it first without upgrading the transformer or chime. I wouldn't have thought much would have changed in doorbells since 1997, but apparently I was wrong.
