They need an anchor store or restaurant to kick start things. If they could persuade a Jollibee or DTF to open a store there it'll be packed in no time. But a successful franchise isn't going to risk it by opening up in an empty mall so it's a vicious circle. I'm actually hoping it works out for the mall. Desperately need an authentic Asian food court in this city. Same garbage in every food court tasting like purgatory on a plate.
Perhaps the price for a stall needs to fall way below market value before people start buying/leasing them and start taking a chance. Project just needs more time. All of North Calgary is practically Chinatown/Little (fill in the blank asian country) so they're in the right place.
I thought that place would be great to have a MiniSo but they already opened up in CrossIron. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think the ethnic community prefer cheaper rent at local strip malls and such.

WRONG!!!! They need a DAIso like at Aberdeen... also a couple of luxury cars retailers in there (without the actual cars there of course), and their own luxury brand stores.
Throw in a Uni Qlo and watch the traffic come from miles away

Bring a Xiaomi retail store so I can buy a scooter lol
I thought only MB left in Aberdeen, although it's been a year or so since I'm there. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think Cam Clark set up shop in Crossiron in the early days when they need space filled out.

Open a So Scare sticker storefront and business will boom..
I MAKE BALLER CARS MORE BALLER.....
I think they whole idea of this horizon mall is for new immigrants from south east Asia, as investment immigration, they may just buy one retail space from oversea (say $250K, whatever) and apply for Canadian immigrant?
