Beer with maple is surprisingly good.
I used to like a weird one called Sap Vampire by Amber Brewing in Edmonton. I think they survive, but they had a cool facility in the strange industrial area that bordered housing near Cesco Vessel Fabricators. Their owner wanted to hire me to help streamline their operations but that wasn't my specialty and drinking far too much of their product would've been a more likely outcome, so I didn't pursue it. Maybe the smartest decision ever, or maybe I blew the chance to help them become the next Big Rock... I'll live.

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
Was a great game. I mean neither team could save their lives on defence but otherwise lots of good fun plays.
SOFI was awesome, exceeding all expectations.

I don't know what you call it, but 2 parts gin, 1 part Cointreau, a splash of lemon juice and some sprite.
Kinda like a white lady or gin sidecar spritz? I dunno. Nice and crisp and refreshing.

Would have been better if it wasn’t the last dram out of it
That’s where I’m at with a bunch of bottles from the days of affordable age statement single malts… sigh

For value/taste combo my go to’s are:
Tomatin
Lismore
Tullibardine
Glenfarclas
Balvenie
There's some Balvenie 17 DW lingering in some liquor stores. $240 is steep though. Actually I feel most Balvenies are a rip-off these days.
No Campbeltown love?
Benromach and GlenTurret are great values, some Clynelish and Benriach as well. Bunna 12 is excellent value for what you get.
What's some favourites in the mid/mid-upper offerings from Lismore or Tullibardine?

I haven’t bought much scotch lately (the wine collection is getting a little nutty though)… Lismore 15 and 21 were a steal when they’d go on sale at willowpark… pre-coop buyout
Tullibardine 1988 was great… plus just a great yeartheir more weird casks are usually good… like the sauternes
