    Default new LEGACY

    i just read the newspaper that the new LEGACY will come in turbo. i'm wondering how much they will ask for that LEGACY GT. it seems a nice looking car......anyone have idea

    Car show Mar 10-14th. New Legacy will be there. There's a chance they may know something.

    My guess would be $30K to $43K cdn.

    Engine choice would be 2.5 Turbo or 3.0 H6

    Yep, the 2.5 should be putting out around 280 HP
    First it was the IS, then the G35, then the TL... now this! Man Japanese sport sedans are getting HOT! Nice thing about this is it will come in wagon form too!

    correct. its more like 29k to 48k (with all taxes in)
    its a 2.5 turbo in the legacy gt with a estimated 280hp.
    the non turbo will have a upgraded version of the ej25 which will be bumped from 165hp to 168. they are wonderful looking cars and hopefully another subaru will be joining the family soon! this is the only subaru that i think does not look ugly

    I doubt the turbo will make 280 here with all the emission control.

    I thought the numbers i've heard were about 250hp and a 5.5 sec 0-60 time. I got my numbers off www.need-desire.com But yea i wouldnt be surpised to see it start off at around 30k and work up to maybe 45k. What i hope though is that they bring the STI over.

    i'm wonder is the 2.5 Turbo (LEGACY GT) using the same engine as the STI. since they a both 2.5. i don't see the point why subaru waste that much money to develop another engine for only one car......correct me if i'm wrong. personally, i think the new LEGACY is HOT more european looking..........i'm looking forward to check out the price. hopefully, the ball range will be within 42K...........god bless us start bringing in something we looking for...........

    well, i never interest the G35 from beginning anyways. the only consideration in my mind is either IS300 or the Legacy. the only concern for me is IS should be time to release the new model. and for the price. i think LEGACY should be very competitive. so i'm looking to see how much they ask for.........

    well, just like the forester in japan. they can make it for 280. it just tune to reduce the HP. that's why i'm wonder are they the same engine and just not tune it as insane as the STI........
