Like the topic says, I'm looking for a place in Calgary that rents portable DVD players. I wanted to take it for a road trip.

See if you can borrow a laptop with a DVD player off of someone. I think there are companies that rent computer equipment as well. Just make sure you get an A/C adapter that will plug in to your lighter, otherwise you're only going to get 2 hours or so out of your average laptop battery.

Walmart will let anyone return anything.......trust me. When ever you need some stuff temporarily buy it from walmart and retutn it when you don't need it anymore, obviously quality will lack but its free right? Currently I am enjoying an air conditioned room courtesy of Walmart.

Who you callin cheap fool? I'd rather save my money and own nice things when I really need them rather than to go out and buy something I only need for a month or two. Unless............. oh yeah I don't want to be labelled a "cheap ass".

    i think i'll just use a laptop...

i'm not really down with the whole 'use and return' philosophy.

meanwhile you "saving money" is costrign everyone else money, because you return it and they think its broken so they throw out a perfectly goos product, and that raises thier loss and therefor they raise prices in everything else, GREAT IDEA everybody thanks you, CHEAP ASS
