Default How would you spend it???

OK so what would you do I have a bit of Extra expendable income.

I have decent furniture, but I would like some new stuf, but the mod bug is killing me but I don't know if I should leave the new SIR almost stock since it is my commuter car or go all out on the RX7. I also found a really nice loft in Mission. But lastly I wouldn't mind building another mountain bike over the winter, but I really don't need one since I have 2 but would love a new one.

Too may decisions, someone help me out.

none of the above... :P if you can afford a nicer pad then you should buy a condo or house.

RX-7 - how much fun will you get out of a commuter? You don't need another MTB if you already have 2.

Maybe consider saving for a down payment on a house since all of the things you mentioned will take money out of your pockets instead of putting more in

Get nicer furniture then rent a nicer place...you can make your cars as nice as you want but if you're coming home to a home that you dont like then its not gonna make a difference how nice your car is.

I would spend money on the house and furniture first. from that point, I would look towards saving some money here and there towards the car.

Oh and buying a house isn't really an option, because I will possibly be transfered quite soon.

Not really. Between fees and interest I end up in worse shape then I would just renting. I have already checked it out, because I originally planed on buying.

Not everyone who has the money to buy a house is necessarily in the best position to do that.

In my opinion, stay where you are at. There isn't any point in getting a nicer apartment if you plan on being transferred.

Keep the civic a stock daily driven vehicle. Do the Rx-7.

Better yet, can your investment portfolio be improved

put some bride seats in your civic, thats the only thing you would notice in a commuter anyway, how comfortable you are.

The SiR has pretty nice seats as it is.. no need to waste it on new ones..
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

kind of a weird question. if you want "smart" financial advice, the obvious answer is to invest it. doesnt look like youre leaning in that direction judging by your list. if you want to know what youd have the most fun spending your money on, none of us can really tell you that. what will you get the most enjoyment out of?
