    Default First Chop Ever

I've only had Photoshop 8.0 for 2 days. I've asked and asked people "How do you do that?" I've always gotten the same response.. "Heh, it's hard to explain." So I had to do some exploring of my own. Here's what I did:

I used the magnetic lasso to outline the Celica.

Then just copied the image and dragged it down to drop the car.

Now, can someone explain to me, how i get rid of the background that was also copied and drug down...

The repainting of car is another thing. I know about the Color Replacement Tool. But, keeping it from looking like i spray painted it. Do i some how flatten the image? if so, How? And the designs...How to do those?

Ive also done this one. Kept it the same color only because i cannot figure out how to use the Color Replacement Tool correctly. And once again, no designs cause i dont know how to do them either.

not bad at all Mt, here's a few tips

    1) U lowered both the Civic and Celica way too much, the front wheels will not turn if it was in real life, to fix this, use smaller wheels up front, or don't drop the car that much
    2) there need to be something to represent the inside of the wheel wells, rite now it looks like there is a hole there, so fix this up i would recommend using a paint brush and paint over the "hole" with some black/grey color

but overall, its not bad for a first chop, keep it up

yea i like my cars dropped that much too, to fix that problem i usualy use smaller rims or i thin out the rubber, maybe even both depending on the wheel

Heres the Celica again, but with designs. I didnt notice it until now, but if u can picture it... Looks like the car is chasing a blonde haired woman, and is right on her ass. Her hair flying back hitting the car......bitch needs a haircut....

WOW i luv that SSR, looks really hot, again the front tires >.<, btw how do u do ur decals?? they looks really nice..

to thin out the rubber, this is wut i do
    1) layer via copy the entire tire (rubber + rim), with the circle selector tool (don't know the techincal name)
    2) layer via copy the rim only, again with the selector tool
    3) lower the car
    4) take the "tire layer" and use the free tranformations to decrease the tire size
    5) take the "rim layer" and move it into place, then merge the two layers (rim and tire layer)
    6) move the "finished tire" into place and add the wheel wells bac in and other details

i hope that helps, if anyone has faster method, please tell me
