Anyone ever get Sunday Deliveries?

Man, i didn't know that there was such a thing as sunday deliveries! maybe its just now because of chrismas and stuff, but for the last 2 weeks i have recieved packages on sanday.

last sunday one arrived before noon totaly unexpected, just some satellite parts

and today parents went shopping, i just walking downstairs and a hear a door bell, i am like wtf.. i run down and there is my amazon.ca order...crazy! i guess they are working overtime now, cuz i have never ever before recieved a package on a sunday, and this is not even like a courier, this is actuailly straight up canada post

Yeah, I remember working weekends at Canada Post. Now I work midnights in the plant, but used to drive and deliver parcels. This time of year is the busiest for us, and we try to make sure that all the parcels that can, do get out in time for Christmas. Right now, there are about 60-70 drivers out there, delivering and picking up parcels at the Retail outlets, and there is about 40 people at the plant sorting and despatching.
