Default beyond.ca fund for indian ocean earthquake emergency

id like to suggest that we start a fund for those affected by the indian ocean earthquake. i or one of the mods can create a paypal account, then when all the money is collected, we can make one huge donation to unicef or red cross under the beyond.ca name. weve got a lot of people on this board and i know a lot of you are decent people who will help out for a worthy cause.

    what do u guys think?

*Post Hijacked by Ben to add donation info to first post*

I'm a supporter of this Idea.

As a Beyond Mod I will spearhead this initiative as I hardly use my paypal account anymore.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to this cause can do so by clicking this link and making a donation.

I will keep this acct open for the next week, as well as will be at the 403 meet tonight to take cash donations, and then will make a donation in beyonds name to the charity you all prefer.

Thanks for being a great group beyond.

I've heard figures of 68,000 and they haven't even gotten into the remote areas yet. Plus all those bodies buried and adrift in the ocean. I also heard that the number of dead right now could double if disease strikes like they predict it will.

Great Job Ben. I donated, not much but thats all I could afford right now. Guys do not hesitate to donate for a noble cause. Think of it like spending money at Mcdonalds or something.

EDIT: yeah, I just did. Did it before your second post so didnt put my name and stuff though.
