OK, I thought this was the song at first, but wasn't sure if it was Soundsaround's ad. Unfortunately my friend didn't know the song either; he was just giving me a play by play on what the song said....
It's called Ballroom Blitz by the Sweet.
Not sure on the artist exactly, as it was covered by a lot of people, but I think they were the original.
