heh, while we're at it, unless its too personal, we should put our average wage, to find out who has the best job for the least amount of work

im around 5K average a month, working 10-40% of the time

Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh - after that I sorta space out for about an hour. Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

I go to high school, so my 'scale' is different, and I don't get paid. I'm in class 5 or 6 out of 8 periods a day (lunch, one study hall everyday, and one some days I drop classes, some I don't). I spend the majority of my time half asleep, I work in French, art, and Alg II/Trig though. I never do anything in science, I pay attention a pretty good amount in history and english.

So I'd say 30 percent of my day is not working... but that doesn't include baseball practice which is more than two and a half hours and hard work... including baseball I'd say 15 percent.

I had nothing to do, so I explained that in full detail for yall...

yeah I'd definitely like to hear what you do if you only do work 10-30% of the time dam I need to find a profession that gives me all the free time.. I'm not that lucky in the finance field.

I'm here all day (10-12 hours) but I have quite a few people helping me out now so I'm not really working as hard as I use to. It's great when your work load goes down but your salary goes up

hahahaha nice. I was hopin somebody put this in here.
I usually will work for maybe three hours out of an eight hour shift, but I get paid jack shit so there is no incentive for me to excel.

    LOL, surprised you remembered.

I've been saying this for a long time.

And really...it's such a far better way to work.

Some people, they take a job and they work it from start to finish, but as we know in the real world, thins come up and we often have a bunch of things to do at the same time. If you can multi task and get a few things done at the same time, then you're already ahead without any real added stress or "elbow grease".

I'm extremely analytical by nature, and I'm constantly processing a variety of things at once, to speed things up and accomplish more at once. This is due to mainly my past employment experience, but also from my upbringing. Keep in mind it's about mastering this, and not feeling overwhelmed and stressing out. Too many people try to carry the world on their shoulders, but very few can do this without physical and mental injury. I dont like to waste peoples time, and I especially dont like to waste my time, so working spart, and actually thinking outside the box at the greater picture or greater good, instead of buckling down and going tunnel vision at one specific thing is generally the way to go. Now there are exceptions, ie studying for tests and shit like that, but in every day life, if you're too focused on one thing, you'll almost always miss other chances, and more importantly opportunities to succeed.

I work in a factory, and lots of the time, 2-3 hours out of 8, is slacking off, because of changing over the machinery and stuff like that.
Some people are funny. They spend money they don't have, to buy things they don't need, to impress people they don't like.
