You sir, have a lot of guts contemplating an idea like that
Jk - but they should be alright - The tools are there, and they are supervised by people who know what they are doing.

jeff type r is studying to be a dentist at the u of a...beyond dental meet!!
Crap I was just at the dentists there last month! The guy did a good job for the most part...even though he caused a lot more pain than usual (ie. hitting the nerve twice with the needle). I had some fillings refilled. I don't think he filled it in properly though, since the filling has started hurting and I'm getting jaw aches that I've never had before. Too bad I'm in Calgary now, and can't afford to go to a real dentist.
If he can wait 4 years! Hahahahaha....Originally posted by rage2

No seriously, I'm 99% sure the U of A clinic does wisdom teeth extractions. I think they have a pretty long waiting list though so you might want to check with them (780) 492-5182.
Don't worry too much. They are actually pretty good from what I hear

Oh they do perform wisdom teeth extractions...it's like a 2 month waiting list though..and you have to show up 2-4 times for some bogus examinations etc...but still cheaper than normal dentists. I think that you have to go through the checkup with a regular student before you even get referred over to the oral surgery department...so it might even be 3 months before anything happens.
