is it possible to "adjust" your marks on the application a little bit to get early admission or do they actually check and verify your midterm marks (thats all I have since the first term isn't over yet).....

I have the marks to get guaranteed admission but early admission would be easier so I can just fill out the form now and get it over with

i dont think they check your midterm mark... but if u dont hit that "early admission " marks at the end.. you are fu#@%ed

I am just asking because on the OFFICIAL transcript that they will get once I am done my exams, is the midterm mark on there

I can't find my midterm report card and only have a basic idea as to what my marks where and well putting a higher mark is not a bad thing

as long as by the end of the year if I still have an average to give me guaranteed admission it doesn't really matter about marks I put on this application?

I had to send in a copy of my marks. I think you might be able to send in your "adjusted" marks and get early admission but you better be damn sure you make hte guaranteed avg. if you want to get in.

I'm not too sure exactly, but there should be some sort of indication on your official transcript of which classes are still pending final marks. You should send your official transcripts to them anyways. I was told that any incompleted marks that aren't on there should be sent to them immediately after they're completed (atleast that's what my guidence councillor told me anyways).

Can you ask your guidence councillor?

im not sure if u need to send in your marks or not.. now .. but just do it online so u dont have to. make up some marks... the midterm marks WILL NOT appear on the final transcript.. but you better damn well sure you make it at the end..

actually come to think of it.. i applied for UBC, U of A, U of C Queens and U of T...

UBC Queens and U of T all required a most recent report card signed by the school.. UBC it has to be seals by the school too. ( this is around Jan of last year)

Uof C and U of A... I cant remember if they requested or not but i sent in a copy of the school transcript with all my marks from Grade 10 signed by the school ( not the offical one you need to order and never get to see)...

Man I did the same thing for that early admission thing!

They ask for your marks halfway into the final so I just put what I thought I would get - and a little on top!

It worked fine, no problems here.
