Money deposit into account

Dont know if this is the right place to post..but..

if someone is to deposit some money into your account, what info do you give them?

Transit number, institution number, and account number?

or something else?

if the person has a canadian bank then try email money transfer. You dont have to exchange anything other than email addresses
