That is super cool! Being a pilot always seems like such a nice job... oh my office? Well, it's the sky!
Haha yeah it’s alright! Bit of a road to get here, and the pay starts super low, but there’s finally light at the end of the tunnel

Man that’s a nice Chezzna! I miss flying bush. The Airbus is about as far removed from actual “flying” as you can get. Up on Lake Kipawa right now for the long weekend, the itch to buy a float plane is strong...

Nah, I think the 737 Maxx is far more removed from actual flying than any Airbus.
    Will fuck off, again.

It's always struck me a so weird that the more automated the airplane, the more pilots get paid. I know it's more souls onboard, and more responsibility, but jesus h. The guys flying a Metro, or the like, are WAYYY closer to killing everyone onboard and only get paid $40g a year.

On a similar note, after almost 2 decades of maintaining Boeings, I decided to go smaller (and get paid less). I couldn't be happier since I switched.

Well yeah. They don’t call the Metro the death tube for nothing lol.

We have a couple 208s as well. Room to move up! (Unless I end up at Porter)

I liked flying the Q. Guessing you live downtown? Mainline is a pretty sweet gig if you’re into the airline thing though. But having said that, I’m jealous as fack.

We live in the beaches. Porter is a good fit for a career in Toronto though.

If you’re in town, lemme know. Come for a rip!

This might be the first time ever I've seen a serious post from you, haha.

If it’s hirise I’m assuming your operating a tower crane. Genuinely curious what was stressing you out every morning?

I'd spend all day waiting for the crane to detach from the building haha
