I got a fuckin ticket tonite for minor in possesion. My can was empty and i was carrying it so i didn't get a littering ticket. God damn cop threw me into his van for no reason. I was standing right next to it and not running away. I gave him my ID and they wrote me a ticket. I am fuckin mad right now. Is there anything i can do to fight this. Hed messed up the spelling in my middle name. Does that mean anything? I don't have the money to pay for this ticket. Any help would be great.

The only thing I can offer is this:
My name has been mis-spelled in every single one of my tickets. It doesn't mean anything.
Not even with a lawyer.

yeah, i think they have 6 months or something to rewrite you a ticket if they spelled your name wrong or something, it usually means squat, but sometimes you can get away with it

Only having a mis-spelled name doesn't void the ticket or anything, you still have to deal with it.

You might as well try it. If he shows, bargain with the crown prosecutor for a lesser charge.

the cop was a real dick. I saw him throw 3 people onto the side of his van for doing nothing. Literally nothing. I have allready called a complaint on his badge for use of unnecessary force and verbal assault. I have witnesses to this too. Does that mean anything?

That's not true ... i have gotten away with it a couple times ... and James has gotten away with so many tickets ... that guy is a genius when it comes to getting out of tickets.
most of the time when you bring your ticket in and they miss spell something or wrong date ect.. the cop is to lazy to write another one .... but then again i may have just lucked out

These tickets are from over a year ago anyways... I don't know why the court date was so far away.
