    Default heated steering wheel

why dont more cars come with heated steering wheels? For me, my hands get way more cold than my ass...I know the X5 comes with it and it got me to thinking...why dont more companies do that, it cant be more expensive than seat heaters, and I've heard they are very nice to drive with.

i only find knob coldness to be a problem with my momo...in which that case it would be hard to heat an aftermarket one...they should just give you an embroidered sock to stick over the knob in winter...

    Maximas have heated steering wheels...
My friend was nuts aobut them, till he got his beamer...Ask the kid ANYTHING about a 5thgen Maxima and i guarantee he knows it.
Driving gloves wont really help, Their not thick, their just Thinner leather etc to enchance grip...You'll still feel teh cold.

Next best thing is to direct the centre and left vents at the steering wheel, and then crank up the heat.

You can get nice leather driving gloves with fur or some other type of insert that will keep your hands nice and warm. I used to own some until someone stole them.

I had to get a different shift knob for winter, my Aluminum Momo was frickin cold. Now I have nice and warm Alcantara. I might just keep it on all year, since the Momo one also get frickin hot in the summer.....
Why doesn't anyone figure this problem out?

    LOL! Suck it up princesses.

IMO, all this stuff is just more stuff to go wrong and just unecessary weight.
