GLGY 209...AKA rocks for jocks.
Soci 201 is also pretty easy, as is GRST 209.

im pretty sure those dont count as sr. non commerce options or Sr.Hu/Fa/Ss/Sc options
take soci 201. It is the prereq for about tons of senior level soci options which count as sr level social science courses
lol, yea it'd be nice to know which junior options you've taken as most prerequisites for the senior courses are at the 200 lvl.
Some options that don't need prereqs..
GOPH375?
HTST (most 300s) - if you like writing essays
well ive done math 251, math 253, econ 201, econ 203, cpsc 203, and geog 213
arky 341
LOL, you're right, I forgot that it had to be 300 level.Originally posted by aklalani

Try ARKY courses, and POLI 381. HTST also has some 300 levels you don't need pre reqs for...

thanks for ur input guys. any other suggestions? maybe in econ?
I think you're limited to one senior econ option for your degree. 301/303 are probably your best bets.. but if one interests you, then you might want to go for it. There's a couple tough ones though so just check the instructor ratings before you get into some.
Pick one and have fun!

buuuuuuuump
Soci of Sport (SOCI 399). I found that to be super easy... you need Soci 201 as a pre-req though.
Music History (MUHL 309.**) special topic courses were good too. No pre-reqs necessary.
Religious Studies (RELS 399.**) special topics are decent, if you are into RELS.
did u find the music history course boring? and how much work is involved with it?

My music history special topics course was on The Beatles, so I loved it...just because I enjoy their music...my dad was into them when I was young, so I guess it just stuck. It was so slack. I mean, our midterm consisted of the prof sampling 10-15 seconds of one of their songs, and we had to write down which song it was. ha ha! My "paper" was 5 pages long and was more of a self reflection more than anything else. Seriously easy. We spent time listening to their music, watching videos... basically, you had to know their music. That's all.
If you pick a special topic course, make sure you are interested in it. It's usually easier, because it's not a course that is offered all the time. Same with an English course I took. Another special topic. "Imagining London in 20th Century Novels." One time offer. I think our prof was into porn (he didn't have to say it...all of his choices of novels all had some sort of sex/porn scene in it..ha ha!), and that was weird. Either way, the special topic was easy as well. Papers to write, of course, but I found that profs seem easier in special topic courses than "regular" courses...as long as you are interested in the topic offered.
anyone taken econ 341- money and banking? if so how was the course in terms of difficulty?
Its not too bad actually. I took it with Janko and her tests were fairly straight forward. Just keep up with the readings with what she goes over in class and you should do fine!Originally posted by aklalani
