Ive always wanted a 2002-2005 honda Integra and i know with all these import laws you can import those but i heard someone say that in USA you can import any car aslong as it can relate to a car already there for ex. a Honda integra to an Acura RSX, does anyone know any thing about this or is it total bs

also if i were to get a RSX i saw in huston that someone did a RHD conversion on theres.
I was wondering were i could get a RHD Conversion kit and how much labour there would be on that kinda work cause i dont wanna go through that stress

can i get some input from a lot of people on this thanks alot in advanced

Smuggle a Type R in and then buy a Canadian type s and switch the serial number s and destroy the type s. Probably cost you less that trying to legitimately and completely convert one. Or better yet be smart and just buy a LHD Type S and enjoy it.

Listen JdmIntegra, you are gonna get a lot of haterade dumped on you in this thread. But this is what you really need to do.

First off locate the Acura RSX that you want. Find the colour and the options you are looking for. Then you find a contact in Japan that owns a similar HONDA Integra. After doing so, you get him to send you his VIN plate. Once you attach his VIN plate to your RSX, then its a Honda Integra.

After you do that, then comes the real work. And I know you are looking to avoid the hassles of the swapping of components. BUT Acu...err, Honda makes it really easy to do. If you look in your engine bay, and at various parts of the car you will notice the shell is made for both RHD and LHD, and respectively different holes or ports are either blocked or open. After you determine this...all you have to do it take your dash apart...and turn it over. It bolts in using the same holes and ports the JDM cars use...do that and you will not only have a Honda Integra...but also be the envy of all the JDM Fanboys/girls of beyond.
