    Default ultra white xenon bulbs?

does anyone ever find ultra white xenon bulbs over heat and melt the connectors?

i purchase like 3 sets over the last year and they always seem to melt the connectors

i've now changed the connectors and gone back to the standard bulbs

do i just have bad luck with these bulbs?

no... hate to say it, but it isn't luck you are lacking.

I bet the bulbs you are talking about are something like 100 W. Your stock wiring harness isn't designed to handle the load required to power these bulbs. The extra power they need cause heat. That is what is causing your connectors to melt.

    I could be wrong though

my cousin had these naxxos bulbs in his benz, and they melted his connectors.. at first, one of the headlights stopped working.. and we thought hey, the bulb just burt out.. so we waited a few days so we could get new ones.. and then the other headlight went out too.. upon inspection.. the connectors were all black, and deformed.

On the contrary, I've had eurolite bulbs for a good two years now.. the same pair.. and havent had any problems yet.. I guess it depends on the bulb, and the vehicle.
