I got mine about 6 months ago. Just file her taxes for that year and it should come automatically. But check the Alberta government website to see if there's a deadline.

Cheques for those under 18 – including any child born in the province in 2005 – will be sent to their primary caregiver, usually the mother.

I know my wife's tax return was late and that's why she never originally received it. I'm going to look into this more this week and post any info I find out.

Filed her return in February and received the assessment in March. Also received a GST check last week for her. Still no sign of a Ralph check but I'd guess it would take about an additional month. I'll post if it ever shows.
