Things to do on a roadtrip

I'm gonna be stuck in a car for 12 hrs pretty soon, just wondering what are some things to do for entertainment?

Do you have a portable DVD player? A laptop works just as fine. What about an MP3 player? That passes the time as well. I don't reccomend reading a book but you can do that as well. Bring snacks, pop, juice boxes, munchies, etc. You can also just sleep so bring a pillow(assuming you're not driving.)

Guessing you'll be driving? Get podcasts
i think they are great for just keeping up with technology, news, whatever
There are few comedy ones too
You could also get Richard Pryor audio tracks, or just standup comedians audio clips and listen to them

first few hours, kill time by looking out and just enjoy scenery
few more hours talking to whoever is with you
then start listening to music
later, put the audio tracks/podcasts in and it should last long enough

Audio books / podcasts are awesome as they are usually in the range of 6-7 hrs (for books anyways). They also keep you thinking and are pretty interesting to listen to.

Other than that, a good ipod playlist and a camera can also help.
