as in like a forum or something?
Life is a Gamble.
If you want a broker let me know. I did a lot of looking around and found the best one.
As for forums I also have a few.
Do you have your stock account setup with a major bank yet?

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
what are you looking to trade?
stocks?
options?
futures?
forex?
If your going to do more then lets say 3-4 trades a month your better off to go with a broker then a major bank.
I think i have a TD waterhouse account....i guess ill use that. Thanks

I unfortunately haven't tried different platforms however I have found Royal Bank to be a brutal trading platform for day traders.
I do get the $6.95 though.

Canada is in the stone age when compared to the US in regards to daytrading brokers. It's been that way since the late 90s and it hasn't improved at all.Originally posted by Neil4Speed

I gave up trying years ago. If someone knows better by all means please inform me. In the US since about 1998 you could get flat rate trades for under $10 with no minimum balance, no inactivity fees, no minimum trades with a web based trading platform that includes live streaming quotes and level 2. To me that’s just a normal account with no bullshit. Where in Canada can i get that?
I also haven't heard of it, but your in TD's Presidents (ultimate elitism) club arn't you? lolOriginally posted by TomcoPDR

As far as good trading platforms go, I have heard that Scotiaitrade and TD Waterhouse (if you get their Activetrader platform) are quite good. I may switch over in a couple of months.

trades are 1 cent per stock with a 495 minimum and 9.95 maximum.
they have pretty good market data as well, news, insider trades, volumes, trends, all the usual stuff.
