LOL OK fair enough. I am tailoring my response to OP and he has a GF1. It maxes out at 3200 but the results aren't pretty given such a (relatively) tiny sensor. 1600 is the most I'd ever use but I even try to avoid that if I can.

She has the the presidential suite booked on the cruise ship so light should be rather good, but I still bought a fl-36r flash and and omni bounce just in case. Any quick tips for using a flash? I watches some youtube vids and have been practicing a bit, but any more tips would be great.
