Android updates begin as a lottery, every time your phone checks for one, there is a slowly increasing chance over time that it will get it, until eventually it is 100%. There is also a limit to how many times your device can check per day (I think it's 2 or 3).

Marshmallow may have made this unnecessary, but one thing you can do that makes a significant difference is put your location settings on Battery Saver mode. You will only have to take it out if you need to use full-on navigation, and it takes 2 seconds to toggle. Apps constantly activating your GPS is hard on the battery, moreso on older phones.

Just flashed the OTA update on my stock Nexus 5.
Went super smoothly (no need to root or unlock bootloader)... toughest part was Android SDK complaining that I didn't have Java on my Mac, and directing me to install the wrong version.

EDIT: NM I found it. Put Marshmallow on my N9 in about 5 min, super easy

Now that I have the upgrade I have issues with Bluetooth in my truck, stock Toyota head unit. Anyone else?

Try unpairing it, then re pairing

I did, it didn't improve.

It doesn't always connect for an outgoing call now and has lost call id and message id, no issues before....

I found resources online about it, I'm sure it'll go away in time. I'll try these suggestions tomorrow (cache partition).

Tried to clear the chache with negative results. Tried unpairing, still acting wonky. Im wondering if its an issue with entune reading the new software

FYI JRS;

Updated the nexus to 6.0.1, re-paired it with the entune head unit, and voila! Its working like a charm now. Getting full messages, contacts, and logs.

6.0.1 changelog says bluetooth issues resolved so who knows what they did. The last update seems to have been the culprit all along.
