I am glad I am not the only one who noticed that.

He also brushed off my comment of "where the fuck did you come from" a few weeks ago.

Maybe I was pre-added to ignore. Interesting.

    Great build op looks mean!

LOL, well the good news is you don't need a functional trans to 2 step it in the garage at 1am when you're drunk.

I have no idea who this guy is, and I don't post much in other sections so I'm confused lol.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to next season, been wanting to do this build for a long time!

It starts with a "T" and ends with an "OMA".

Haha, wouldn't that be some drama.

I don't know him super well, but from what I know I don't think he's the type of guy to do something like that.

Very nice build. Does Alberta have the highest concentration of bonkers E46's? Doesn't this make three big horsepower E46 M3 in Calgary/Red Deer?

There's one in Edmonton too owned by Dallas that's in the 800+RWHP club.

There's a few. Like Justin L mentioned, Dallas's, Parm @ Motorwerkes also has one, Kenton, Dan, Alex...rage2 use to have one as well

Probably about 5-7 of them in Alberta.

Few months ago with Dallas and Parms car at my shop:

I've tuned a few of these cars way back in the day. After JP and John left HPF their ECU calibration really took a dive. So I managed to get the file (That HPF use to charge $1500 for!) to unlock the HPF AEM ECU and custom tune these and put them back to where they should have been. Connecting to that ECU and tuning it was a royal pain in the ass, so many comm issues. Mucho better now with the new ECU.

Very nice build, the car looks so clean. Any issues with the common M3 faults? Rear sub frame, vanos, etc?

    Thanks!

I have 0 of the common mechanical issues. But here is what I'm doing over the next couple weeks while car is apart:
    -besian vanol seals
    -besian oil pump disc
    -besian vanos coilpack upgrade
    -redish motorsports floor reinforcement plates
    -akg subframe bushings

The only "e46 issues" I have are aesthetics, the window trims drooping and the cracked center vent.

We removed the SC today. Had to fire it up while the intake was off.

    Progress!

Moved the fuel pressure regulator and switched up to a return setup instead of returnless like I had before. Added another fuel damper, so now there's one in the rail and one in the high pressure line, also fuel temp and fuel pressure into the reg body. Was thinking about going E85 and then I could use the fuel temp channel in the Flex sensor, but decided against it as I'd have to change injectors again and add a ton more pump. Maybe later down the road I'll do a twin or triple pump set and ID2000's.

Turbo, wastegate and downpipe is all mounted up. Intercooler piping and hot side end tank needs a bit of massaging. Getting pretty close though.

Got the piping all done, full exhaust all done as well. Put everything together and confirmed fitment, pulled it all back off and send intake mani and piping for powdercoating. Should be ready to start up and run after I get that stuff back

You can pull the whistle out of those things to make them sound much better.

Yes I know the fin can be removed or changed to others.

They only squeak on small turbos / low volume. On every one of my cars that has them they sound good.
