    Default bike for grabs

moderators please can you keep this here? not many people see this in the marketplace.

Alright here is the deal guys. Im selling my baby to get another baby. This is a brand new stock 2003 gsxr 600 showroom condition. First oil change was just done and sitting at 1150 km. The reason im selling it is because I want to get a 1k. Ive been debating on selling it for awhile now but here it goes. $10,000 o.b.o

I've seen the bike first hand. It just rolled over to 1100 Km and the break-in was done properly.

Make an offer, its a brand new bike ready to be bagged.

No kidding, 600's are fast enough as is!

I'd bet he can't wheelie it and blames the bike. Stick with it awhile man; you JUST got it. Don't become another statistic.

well one of the reasons I want to move up is because I am 6' 2' and the new 1000's are higher up and fit me better. This feels a little small for me.

I'm 6'2" as well and don't have any complaints.

The GSXR I had was a lot more cramped than my R6 or F4i but the 1000's feel the same way to me. Almost all of the 1000's are the same size as the 600's except for maybe the wheelbase and width. The seat hight is almost always the same with hardly any difference...

There's lots of things you can to do change the way the bike feels... clipons under the tripples and rearsets.

Also I just like the way the new 04's look and I might not be staying with the gsxr. I might be going to one of the other 3 undecided which yet. Like I love this bike dont get me wrong everything is perfect on it. But everyone has different prefrences on looks and feel of the bike.

I am willing to neogotiate on the price a little as I put o.b.o. Not to to much though because yes its in showroom condition and is brand new.

What are you doing mark, listen to the guys. They want you to ride the six hundred until they are comfortable with your riding ability.

Come on man, like, show some respect to the forum.

Of course im just kidding, I know you've ridden beasts.

You can get a brand new 750 for 10,800 though.

your 4th bike? i been browsing around here and thought that it was your first.....

wow, 1100kms and you're ready for a 1000. you must be the second coming of Valentino Rossi.

i don't mean to sound like a dick but i don't think you have any idea what you're getting yourself into. can you even handle emergency situations yet? how about braking and countersteering at the same time? or looking through the turn? throttle control?

have you checked insurance prices on litre bikes yet? or how about the tires that you'll go through? the tires on my 750 last me 4000kms per set....yes, thats both front and rear.

just my .02cents. people usually don't listen to that kind of advice though cause they want the biggest and baddest.

i'm glad you decided to keep it.

just a little quote "its more fun to ride a slow bike fast, then a fast bike slow" (not saying that your bike is slow but you get the gist of it)
