Default Gsr Or Type R Swap For Eg Hatch

Help a guy decide what swap to do. The gsr(with lsd) is about 1200ish cheaper then the type r swap but im wondering if its worth the extra coin.

I did some quick research last night and looks like it bolts in. i will need a conversion harness and there seems to be some axle problem. 32 mm hubs on car, 36 mm axles on type r. Whats the way around this problem?

Also, anyone have any idea what a 95 cx would run in the quarter mile with the type r engine?

    Thanks

You would wanna save for the Type R. Then get a GSR with LSD and put the rest of the money into cams and shit. That is what i would do

put it this way, for $1200 can you make a GSR as fast as the Type R?

But it depends what is your long term goal is. if you want to do turbo, or big N/A Build then maybe you can should get the GSR

for a EG w/ Type R you can probably run low 14/high 13 depend on your driving

GSR, there are so many upgrades for the GSR it will make your head spin, buy the gsr,and use the 1200, to build it up, that is what i'm doing ith my integra as we speak.

Id say the ITR. I've sat down and tried to figure how a person could equal the performance with the $2000 difference (here in Regina) and you can't N/A unless you can fab some of your own things and find good used parts.

You have the cams, which have alot of potential left in them, (thats with new intake springs about $850 in savings) the LSD, the better gearing in the tranny, though it doesnt matter a whole lot in mild performance tune, its already got the head work done (flow matched and polished), the engine is balanced better, you've already got a quality piston (moly coated + lighter) in it that with some milling of the head would give you as much compression as our gas could handle, better intake manifold and throttle body... list goes on. The beauty of the ITR drivetrain is its already half prepped.

But if your boosting, go with the GSR.
