Default So I bought something useless on eBay...

    ... Or is it?

It's a Tokina RMC 500mm f8 Mirror Lens! And it came today! All the way from Czech Republic, which only took about 7 business days to ship!

Very well packaged, I must say

Now here's a stupid question: Where in the hell do I screw the filters on? The gray knob part can't really twist off and I'm quite confuddled.

I'm pretty sure those filters screw onto the back of the lens, man.

You may need a filter wrench to put them on or remove them, though.

Thanks Trevor! I thought about this earlier but when I tried it on the first time, it didn't fit.

Upon further inspection, I realized that the third (and to what I thought was missing) filter was already screwed in there!

Now since I don' t have a filter wrench, I had to use me noggin... and pull out the screwdriver!

    "Lefty loosey!"

I found the third filter that I thought was missing!

The circle of life is now complete and all is well with the world. I shall test this lens tonight and see how she handles. Got my 800ISO all loaded up and ready to rock!

You clod! Good luck with your doghnut machine, let us know how your shots turn out.

Also, finish that roll in your Yashica off!

12 frames per roll. just don't be like me and forget to advance the film or you'll be shooting the same roll forever.

One of these days, I'll buy a mirror lens just for fun.
