Bolt Snap

so earlier today i was installing new rocker arm stoppers in my sr20det and as i was tightening up the last bolt i heard snap! turns out that i broke the bolt over the rocker inside the block. does anyone know how to get it out and were i can get a new screw?

Broke the bolt off one of the cam caps? I did that before and you should be able to remove the cams again and the bolts should stick out a bit you'll be able to spin it out with plyers. If its brocken off flush with the head then take something pointy and press it against the top of the bolt really hard and try to spin it out like if you were using a screwdriver. They dont get stuck in there really so it should be pretty easy to get out.

If all else fails a reverse cut drill-bit works wonders.. just be careful of the shavings obviously.

reverse cut drill worked. just grilled a 3mm tunnel and put a cool bit in there and spun it out using some pliers.

Glad to hear this didn't turn into a nightmare, I'm also a big fan of the reverse cut drill bits!
