Good luck to Ricciardo in his next career.

My favourite quote from the announcers
“This would actually be a pretty exciting race if you pretend the red bulls aren’t there”

It’s literally the only way to enjoy almost every race in god knows how long. You could almost say the same for Mercedes domination era, but that was only a season, arguably 2 where nobody was catching Mercedes at every track. Even then we at least got some entertainment with rosberg v Hamilton. Perez is nowhere close to max so both are just driving 80% on a Sunday drive. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
At least last year it was just pretending max wasn’t there but seems like they’ve improved the car so much even Perez could cruise to a title if it wasn’t for max lol.

I wouldn't drink Red Bull if it cost a nickel. It tastes like something you would drink on a dare from a beaker in chemistry class.
At least the broadcast has figured it out and they don't really spend much time showing the Red Bulls anymore and focus on who's fighting for 3-10.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's actually kind of funny for the sponsors... the team they backed is so successful they get less screen time.
I actually really like the taste of it. I just don’t want to drink energy drinks. The desire to feel like I’m on the edge of cardiac arrest is something I grew out of in my 20s.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Lawson and Iwasa in the picture but Ricciardo was at the stewards and they didn't wait for him.
Same here. But the rest of the race was pretty entertaining. Super stoked on Yuki getting a point in Japan. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Pretty decent race. I dont blame danny on that crash entirely. He had to defend with the faster Aston on the inside of next turn. Albon should have been a bit more patient and known the risk of trying to go 2.5 cars wide into that turn. Danny's start was terrible though which put him in that spot.
Good race overall. Tons of passes, including some at 130R and quite a few during sector 1 esses which is usually a no pass zone. Quite impressive. Was fun with the offset strategies, made for lots of passing and positions up in the air.
Agreed on it all. The RBs were at a disadvantage on the Mediums and had a slow start. Sounds like Danny Ric was looking in his mirror at the AM and didn't see Albon poke his nose in... just a racing incident but very crappy timing for DR given his need to show performance. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Checo making passes at 130R was amazing to watch. Looks like he's lighting it up this year with an uncertain future. I do suspect most of that is because of the improvements made on the RB20.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Watched the sky feed and I have to say Nico rosberg was entertaining to me. He’s based off facts and shuts down crofty and his assumptions. Typically I dislike rosberg but I was happy today to have his input.
+1 I enjoyed Rosbergs commentary as well. When correcting crofty on Norris sprint quali start "no. he would never do that....." fukn lol.
He was a little mumbly and quiet in the sprint, but he was much clearer in the GP.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I do agree, it's funny when he's so direct and just shuts people down.

Ya I find him far from a pro like Martin brundle, or jolyon palmer. I like both those guys, but Nico is very honest and calculated with the new cars. It was near the end of the race where he had a comment about tires I think, it was amazing compared to the other guys. Like I said I typically don’t enjoy listening to him but he was great this weekend.
Too bad for Danny not getting a point, I think he still had a pit stop to go and probably would have lost it anyway but he was driving pretty good.
