Most of those places have online coupons, so print one out at home before you go. Or just tell the dude you need five bucks off. Probably $89 is regular price for conventional? They are all close to same price.

I typically change my own oil. Not only do I prevent drain plug stripping, I spill enough oil on my garage pad that it keeps the rebar from rusting out. I also spill enough on my clothing and skin that I smell like a rig worker and get free cigarettes outside the local crack bar.

God damn life saver. I can do an oil change in 5 minutes flat with the top mounted oil filter. No raising the car or crawling on the floor or oil pans chaos.

Quick question...
Truck has always has always had conventional oil on a regular schedule from day 1 when I bought it.
Would there be any advantages / disadvantsages to switching to a full synthetic blend now.
Truck has approx 140K on it.

No disadvantage but cost. Advantages pretty minor after 140k.

Nothing to add except that it’s synthetic blend, or full synthetic.
