    Default Hair Transplant

Well I guess the time has come, I have been losing hair for more than 10 years now and it seems as if it stopped but with that being said not much hair is left on my head. I tend to still go to the barber to get a haircut every month or so. With the idea of people getting a hair transplant I have been looking into it a bit. Turkey is the one place I hear from everyone in terms of cost and quality perhaps.

I wanted to shave my head being told that it is the best feeing ever once done. But i have never in my life even buzzed my hair and am a bit skeptical of the outcome.

If anyone on here has got a transplant or a friend that has got one and would like to share details that would be great. My questions at the moment are as follows:

    - Location
    - Recommend Clinic
    - Costs
    - The aftermath does it last for a long time or is it gone after few years.

And no a wig won't cut it at this point.

    Happy Sunday

transplant doesnt really work if you have lost a lot of hair.

    Just shave it.

Dont go for budget places in turkey. They crank out as many patients as possible and a lot of the hairlines look really strange. There is a doc in i think netherlands. Fuegenixhaarclinik i think is the guy. Prob not cheap but would be well worth it.
You wat a fue and not an fut transplant by the way.

There are also places down in tijuana that are probably competitive prices. Fly down to san diego and drive across.

Just join the team man, mine started falling out in the late 90s when I 26 or 27, and I started shaving the remaining hair off then. Clippers = $25 dollars, and I only recently replaced that set of clippers with a new one. Used to bic it daily too back in the day, but am past such appearance cares now. Cheap easy hair (or no hair in this case) cuts for life.

A lot cooler in the summer time, especially if you wear a hat. Which you should. Or invest in really good sunscreen. Or burn. And cry.

I think you're delaying the inevitable, people will always know that you had a transplant and it will be the focus on you for the rest of your life.

Just shave it man. You don't even have to Bic it, just go super short with it and it'll look fine. Work your way up to the Bic.

I don't picture that as being a big negative. A wig or a toupee? Definitely! But I think people would tend to look at this without a negative connotation.

Agree to disagree. I know 2 people with plugs. It's terrible. These are also 2 wealthy people.

If there's anyone out there who disrespects you for thinning or balding, those same people will disrespect you for a hair transplant. Those people are disrespectful towards you and its not about the hair.

Why? Did it not take correctly and they look stupid? That's different. Anyone who is funny looking deserves to be mocked until they commit suicide.
But if they just went away and fixed their baldness, I don't see that as something to stay hung up on.

Just do what everyone else, does. Buy a cherry red corvette convertible, and a baseball hat.

Yes. It looks like implants. Not to mention ive known them most of my life and they were balding, now theyre not.

Im saying if you're already self conscious about balding, you're going to be self conscious about how people are going to talk about "look he's got hair again, implaaamnttsss! Loserrrr! " I'm just spitballin here on that but it is something I've seen and heard alot of, so maybe not untrue.

This is best advice. Especially if you're already married. Then who gives a fuck at this point.

I know a couple guys that have done this and its not obvious they had anything done, unless you had seen them before when they were bald-ish. Although, one of the guys hair grew in ginger and it wasnt before, its also growing like crazy.

Hit up moe at Avenue barbers.

He’s got the connections in Turkey for the right people. He had it done about 2 years ago and his hair looks great

I think I would consider it...but I started losing my hair around my crown. And I think that's a lot harder to come back from. You also pretty much have to go on the medications, too...which I can't be bothered to do.
