It’s in Seattle, but it looks like modern day Portland. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Visited Portland last summer after not being there for ~7/8 years. What a dump!
Still great food though lol
Did they ever explain in the game how the cordyceps survive blizzard winter?
Off to Vancouver they go as rumoured

Vancouver is better I've heard.

1) S2 is on the coast. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
2) They have to pull a number of people out of Vancouver to work on S1 anyway.
3) More and better soundstages (for now) so they are not held up in random warehouse/workshop in the SE. Or worry about being shot by some kid stupid enough to whip out an airsoft gun.
The 5th ave scene has background heavily CGI'd away. So if you got a bigger soundstage, you can probably just greenscreen it.
Fair, yeah we're working on the new studio job in the south is kind of why I was wondering. I think they're almost done (but also booked up pretty good). This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I still have to watch the series, but in Episode-3 there is a scene where they crash through the gates of an operating facility. That's in Carseland/Strangmuir. I'll update with a screen grab later on, but I know precisely where it is and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.
this video did a great summary
trying is the first step towards failure
I was in Vancouver last week. That city has gone full shit hole mode in the last few years.

I just finished Episode-3 and thought it was amazing. The gas plant gate that Bill crashed through is actually a GtL plant near Carseland. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I noticed it's not noted on the Travel Alberta map, but it's right about here:
Yah that’s the plant that a former coworker of mine works at. He mentioned to us that it was briefly featured in the show.
Looking around
Wondering what became
Of what I once knew
Been bingeing my way through the game with my latest time to relax. Man this story is awesome - just finished the cannibal area.
Bold statement but I think the acting might be better in the game than the show. Ellie for sure, Joel maybe a tie.

^ 100%, the show was a let down for me because of Bella Ramsey and the hurried storyline.
Wait till you play part 2. I felt part 1 (the game) was a bit of a grind. Part 2 pacing was much better and the story was fantastic. It’ll ruin you till season 2 of the show tho.
