Have a buddy with a 1991 NSX, 60k miles, absolute mint condition, bunch of mods, custom 19s etc etc. Just wondering what they are worth around here?

I'd say ~40K depending on condition
Ya I agree with boosted. I'd say 35 to 40.
They are holding their value quite proper. I would say same as above depending on condition and how quick you want the sale to be.
The 91 NSX has been going for the same price since 1998.
Looking for a new VW? How about a used vehicle? We are Central Albertas #1 source for pre-owned vehicles

^thats pretty crazy
If it's an auto you can easily knock $5k off those numbers. It would be important to know what mods it has.
roughly $160 per horsepower - the same as a new gtr
Its manual hah, dunno why anybody would want an auto, defeats the point!
Pretty much what we were expecting to get for it. Thanks!
Wow, that's insane. You can get a Ferrari 355 Spyder for that kinda coin, and the Ferrari will be newer.

It really is a sick thing. The damn things just won't go down in value and finding a 02+ LSB is damn near impossible.Originally posted by Redlyne_mr2

i want one so damn badly its ridiculous and its starting to seem like i never will. when iv got 40,000 to blow on a toy its going to be hard to convince myself of NSX when there are so many newer, faster, more reliable toys for that price.

The longer you wait the less and less likely you'll buy one, I'm in the same boat. I don't think I'd spend 60k on a NSX anymore. I'd rather spend that money on something else and modern.
my friend bought an NSX, drove it 8 years, did nothing but change tires/oil and sold it for what he paid. Crazy but true.
60kmiles: Is it a US car? I'd say you'd be lucky to get $35k for it as I've seen newer ones with lower mileage go for less.
I don't understand all the love for NSX - it's a waste of money IMO. Paying north of $30k for 1980's technology is crazy. The styling is nice (and timeless), but it doesn't have matching performance numbers to match. Sub 300hp in a 3000lb car =

40k for an almost 20 year old car with under 300hp
I still want one bad though.
For 40g's I would buy an 02 911 turbo from the states or spend 45g's on an f355 spider from the states. Or even a 2000 viper gts acr. That's just way to much for an acura nsx a specially an older one.
yea but because the car is under powered and so expensive, it makes it a truly collector's car type of thing where you won't see 5 in the same day.Originally posted by MDO_Calgary

Plus the styling of the car is simply beautiful. Don't think your average person would think the car is 19 years old.
