People forget that it's only episode 2 of the season. There have been a few significant deaths already that will move the story forward.

You don't think some of the deaths episode two were "real shit"?
I'm not going to list and recap everything significant in the first two for spoiler and laziness reasons but I would say quite a few large parts have already happened
They weren't very shocking. That's what I meant for not being real shit. The ending with Melisandre was the most shocking so far.
Give me some dragon wrecking shit action.
Spoiler:
Didn't Balon Greyjoy die in the book? Don't remember anymore. Don't care too much about Bolton neither
Do we really need to worry about spoilers in this thread?
Most internet people don't wander into threads about shows if they aren't caught up....
I like to see space pants riding the dragon.
Uh, did somebody remove my posts? Why?
They were informative and on topic
This thread is about discussing Game of Thrones, why would we need to spoiler warning everything??

Yeah, he did, after which there are multiple claims to his throne which was alluded to at the end of the episode. Theon's sure picked a convenient time to go home eh?
And some do. It's not that hard using spoiler tags is it? Well, I guess people still haven't figured out how to embed YouTube videos after 10 years....Originally posted by Buster

I loved the first two episodes this season so far. Plenty of 'real shit' imo lol.

Yah I agree with you Anarchy
Spoiler:
- King and Prince killed by deceased brothers wife
- Sansa escaped
- Mountain man is crushing peoples skulls
- Bolton killed by Son, then his wife and new born fed to dogs
- Greyjoy killed by brother, his son is on the way home
- Danaerys involved with Dothraki and told she is to be sent to widowed isolation temple
- both the dragons set loose off the chains to i'm sure have some big part right away
- all the ships for their attempt to sail are burnt down
- crows and wildlings coming to the defence of snow
- red lady taking off necklace adding more mystery to her powers only to revive snow next episode
- bran is starting to see things of the past and dealing with the old guy
I know there are other things, but the term boring or loose ends doesn't really agree with my stance. especially for two episodes in, quite looking forward to the rest
The two episodes covered a lot of main characters but just with a little bit each. It's a bit of an issue with a story of so many characters all heading in different directions. Some episodes focus on just a few characters only making the story telling a bit more fluid. On the other extreme like in the books, some characters were left out for way too long.Originally posted by anarchy

Spoiler:
What happened to Lady Stoneheart? Don't remember seeing her in the TV show.
Is there a way to see through spoiler tags on a phone?
I hold to copy the text and the drag to expand the selection.
They just cut thay story line entirely.Originally posted by lilmira

IMO, I think the show has gone far along enough that they can do that. I think spending the last 5 seasons concentrating on a few stories at a time gives viewers the time to set things up and gives book-readers a chance to see it transpired onto the screen. I think now, since everyone is on the same page and the story has gone so far, they can start focusing on multiple stories at the same time for what's to come. And because the timing is so convenient for alot of them, I think it'll be big heading towards the end of the season. I understand where you're coming from though. But to get up to speed on monumental events in only 10 episodes, I think it's necessary.

I hope they introduce her though, though I'd understand if they left her out completely. The Starks could use a break for once.

There's still an opportunity to introduce and use her if a handful of characters need to start dying mysteriously. Just have them start falling off and nobody knows who's doing it. Then they reveal who it is and her story. They don't even need to match her story to the books, just enough to get people to go "Whoa". Though it may be too late for that as well, I dunno.
EDIT: For clarification, I haven't read the books. I just managed to spoil her story for myself and am very upset that I did.

Catelyn Stark, she was resurrected by Lord Beric. Remember the guy with the flaming sword that wouldn't die after he was chopped by the hound during the trial by combat? That fight was in the TV show I believe. It was pretty shocking when Lady Stoneheart appeared in the book. Then she was left out in the books too I think. If I remember correctly, Brienne ran into her while trying to locate Sansa. That's where it was left off. Sansa and Theon jumped. So Brienne meeting up with Sansa is new or a deviated story line.
Nevermind, it wasn't Sansa who jumped with Theon. She was a fake Stark married to Ramsay. It's been too long since I read the books. I can use a refresher course.
