Problem is the ball was in their court. I already paid and gave them a 5 star rating, as i didnt put them on right away, i just had a look and didnt notice the bigger hole. So, because paypal plays mediator, you have to play by paypals rules. I had to ship them out, and give paypal the tracking information. When they recieve the product back, they tell paypal who gives me my money. I thought about C.O.D, but it shows in paypals rules that i am responsible for paying postage to get it back.

Fucking stupid but ah well, you win some you lose some.

Got everything switched over to the new tranny tonight, AND took out all of the shift rod bolts and put loctite on them.

The following picture is why this is a good idea to do.

Heres the little prick that ruined the end of my summer last year

I think it got loose, which is why i had sticky shifter issues, and popping out of 1st gear randomly. One day i hit it into second hard, and it went into rowboat mode.

Decided to take some time and set up the twin pumps today, and decide where to route my -8an line.

Heres the pumps paired together, dont worry about the difference in socks, the old one is my original from the s14 pump, and goes a bit deeper, so good for a primary pump. The other sock sits deep enough too so its ok

You can see i made use of the stock bracket. I dont want those pumps just wandering around wherever they want. It was snug, but it fit. And yes, i did use a trailer brake harness pair for wiring the fuel pumps. Worked out great (=

In the car, VERY nice fit.

Spent some time on cosmetics today. Had my cam gears arrived, that bitch would be in the car by now.

anyways, did the valve covers, and the valley cover. I think it turned out pretty good, minus some dust landing on the valley cover during paint (stupid dusty garage)

New cam gears came in, and they FIT!!!OMFGBBQ!!!

    they look pretty decent too.

Degreeing the cams friday night, hopefully should be dropping it in after that.Waiting for my -8an to double -6an y to come in, and a few misc things.

keep watching, this is gonna get good soon....i hope (=

Jesus..even your fuel filter looks bling bling. But good choice..I'd hate
to see a motomaster on that bad boy.

Thanks, the bling was a side effect, because for a fuel filter i dont really give a shit. But to find one thats -8AN and 10 micron, and will flow enough for me was hard. It was the cheapest one on ebay that wasnt some chinese off brand. It is pretty nice tho, and i do like how it mounts.

I really didnt want to mount it outside of the frame rail, but it is above the level of the bottom of the frame rail, and therefore can never drag or make contact. I may make a little piece of sheet metal to cover the fuel lines later. I think they will be fine for now. No matter what i do, i cant escape the exhaust routing on this car. I needed them to be away from the exhaust, and if they are on the inside of the frame rail, they will be too close to the exhaust. FUEL NEEDS TO BE COOL DAMMIT!!!

Did the intake pipe today, and the steel braided line for it, and welded in a bung behind the turbo for direct sampling on the dyno.

Mostly finished engine bay, pretty much how itll stay.

For those who care, its going on the dyno friday (tentatively) so, bring some popcorn.....it should be good either way.

What time? I'll swing by. Was hoping I'd beat you to the dyno but some minor holdups before I can take the Aristo for a tune.
