Working great now. Played quite a few games in there today. If we had the !Punish/!forgive option, it would be perfect

Edit: Can I still throw in some money to pitch in? I'll be playing alot more in this server now that it's hardcore.

I've been so busy! I finally had time to log in last night 63/64 players! SICK! I was able to jump in and play a round. I saw some beyond clan tags.. is that the official tag?

Thanks Server should get traffic from now on without any additional work and it will just get busier on its own. In a few days we should be able to add some of the less popular maps that most of us still like without having a negative impact on traffic.

Worrying about reserved slots is much better problem to have than traffic

It did end up crashing again at 6:15AM and it killed it, but it should fill again on its own soon.

Are we going to be keeping this a conquest only server? Would be nice to see Rush back in the line up.

I managed to get in - thanks tho! Got TK'd a lot by people when I would be going for a tank/helicopter/jet.

Lame. We've been perma-banning people for doing it but there's so many people playing this game that it feels like we have a never ending stream of them. Oh well, they'll all get banned eventually, one at a time.

Wasn't planning on it, a lot of people play one or the other but not both. Maybe now that the server has taken off so well and some other people are talking about donating we can look at a second server and have one for each? We have more than enough players that we can have one of each and keep the payments between $5-$10 a month.

If we do that, I would suggest we keep the exact same name/format and run them both the same way with the only difference being one is conquest large and the other is rush.

My personal opinion is making it mixed mode would have a severe negative impact on the traffic we're starting to get.

Well if you look at the Poll, half of all the votes cast are for a mixed map. So I don't see how it would hinder our server. Even if we only started with 1-2 rush maps and see how it goes.

Conquest just gets boring after a few matches, IMO.

The reason the server was totally dead for the first two weeks is because the admins did what the pole asked for. I can assure you that switching it back to mixed mode will kill the traffic we get. We can cater to the pole which has a lot of votes from people who barely even play, or we can cater to the people who play hours each night and fill the server. Up to you guys, but like I said, I'd put money on it totally dying if we switch it back to mixed. I think most will agree that a full server with the current settings is better than an empty server with the suggested pole settings.

strange issue, procon shows a max of 32 players and won't let me go any higher, but if I hit 64 it shows in battlelog as a 64 player server. Hmmm, guess we'll see what happens when we hit 32 players, we'll be above 32 shortly.

Taemo, I don't think I have access to do this, but we need to try to wipe and reload the server. I'm assuming this is done on my.gameservers.com

Also, some people are suggesting that procon is causing the problems, I'd suggest we change the password for connecting via procon and no one use it at all. We have to set up the in game admins so they can do things via that !Ban and !Kick commands.

The people that have stopped using procon and done a wipe/reload have said they have been up for 2+ days without a single crash or dumping anyone.

Yeah, I hope so. Worked so hard for the last week and after it booted everyone sooooooo many times yesterday the server has sat empty. I don't want to waste any more time trying to repopulate it if it's going to keep booting people. Once we do the wipe/reload and change the procon password I'll get it going again.

I have a feeling the hosting company is putting some serious effort into trying to fix the problem, we're not the only one that asked for money back or cancelled the server. This whole gong show is probably costing them a fair chunk of change.

I'm going to change the procon password and get the server repopulated today.

Guys please make sure to avoid the use of Procon till we see if this fixes the crashing problem. Yes I know it sucks, I just bought the iPhone app too, but people are having great luck with their servers so far by doing the wipe/reload and disabling procon. Some people are suggesting that somehow procon is corrupting some of the server files.

Well it looks like it will take a few days to get the server going again. We needed to do the wipe/reload but when we did it, it removed the server from everyones favourite list so it will probably be a slower process for a few days. I'm hoping to have it repopulated by thursday/friday again but this time i'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will be stable.

When a few more people are online we can all hop in there to get it started again, we're pretty much starting from scratch again.
