Would not have helped last weekend's job as it was going over a retaining wall. Would be useful for the other side though.

Irrigation is one of the few things that's surprisingly cheap. I can hook you up with my guy if you want
Send it on over. Irrigation isn't crazy expensive by any means but its very cheap to do yourself. That being said I am at an all time low for motivation so any way I can skirt responsibility I am open to.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

When we finished our basement bathroom, I needed to do some cUsToM moddz because TPiM is so fucking cool and I fucked up the sink aerator instead of increasing its flow. For like 4 years it's been this humiliating combo of an infant trying to blow out birthday candles combined with trying to piss after being up all night screwing.
So full props to the Kohler website for having the ability to identify their product from a submitted photo because they have over 120 models listed. I ordered the replacement aerator on Amazon and got it right away.
The best part is that I was able to more carefully separate this one and remove that bullshit O-ring to increase the flow of Greta Thunbėrg's tears without borking it. Now I go out of my way to wash my hands in the basement to enjoy that silky smooth flow.
Buster's landscaping/irrigation guy is great. Landscaping prices are a bit higher than other companies but the irrigation side was/is well priced.

Went out at 6:30 am to dig out dandelion. Will go to Lowes to get some Hen Manure and spread them on the lawn and garden. Depending on which station you check we might get some rain today. With Calgary chances are what precipitation anticipated doesn't materialize.
Pavers infront of the door and round paver path to the gate. Got the seed down about 20min before the rain started
Tremendous amount of work put into this yard in the past year...
We have to make the most of the space as having the second garage in the back eats up quite a bit of space.
Work completed in the past 1.5 years.
1) Tear out existing yard (several bushes and trees, old couple lived here before we purchased)
2) Tear out small grass patch
3) Push fence back to take over the previous trailer parking
4) Remove rock/ gravel from the trailer parking
5) Build massive 2-tier deck
6) Remove grass from the side of the house, replace with rock/ paving stones
7) Add kids play area, rubber mulch etc
8) Add hot tub
9) Build Gazebo
10) New patio furniture
11) Add string lighting
Still a work in progress to optimize, but we are getting there!
Next up - New fence. Current fence is only 5' tall, will be building 7' fence with an additional 1' of latticing for a total of 8'.
Saw that gazebo at HD, it's very nice.
Huge fan of it to be honest.
We looked at multiple and were planning buying a Toja Grid kit until we saw this one at Home Depot.
I tried to get one at HD at the end of last year on clearance, but they cancelled my order. Said they had 41 in stock, would ship to the store, but kept cancelling. I still would like to pick up a hard-top permanent one for the back yard.

Got a link to that gazebo? Would be curious to get some more info. Wife wants a retractable awning for the back, I'd like something a little more solid.

It took my Dad and I 7 hours to assemble, and we were by no means moving quickly.
If you can get a third person it will go much faster.
Also, power tools will be your friend.
Looks like a good use of space! I'm curious if you're planning to get city approval for a fence of that height, or just build it and hope no one complains? You might want to keep the main structure within the 2m height limit, so you can just remove the lattice if there's ever a problem. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
