Looks like a good use of space! I'm curious if you're planning to get city approval for a fence of that height, or just build it and hope no one complains? You might want to keep the main structure within the 2m height limit, so you can just remove the lattice if there's ever a problem.

Good call, I didn't know the max height was 6'6, I always assumed 7' for whatever reason!
    I appreciate it.
Lattice will 100% be used for an additional 1' of height.

Anyone complaining about your fence is too high, just wants to watch you in the hot tub.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Got a link to that gazebo? Would be curious to get some more info. Wife wants a retractable awning for the back, I'd like something a little more solid.
Gazebo or pergola 100%. Retractable awnings are junk.

The back neighbours of my inlaws had a hot tub that they would go nude in. In the middle of the day no less.

Never wore swim trunks in mine either. Less people want to mooch your tub that way.

My yard is quite private (bungelows ftw), but I have no doubt at least one neighbour saw my privates.

Reorganized the garage today, essentially moved everything from the right to the left which makes things much more functional.

The single bay was a PIA to get a car into because of the alley dimensions, so this is actually much easier day to day. And int eh winter I think I’m going to get rid of some crap into an exterior shed / sell some stuff and in the winter I will slide the M2 into the single bay on dolleys when I use the garage way less.

Will feel this layout out before I make any more drastic changes.

Also put in 1/3 of my “keep your dogs off my lawn” barrier. Will finish up the rest tomorrow.

Took down my ugly ass bamboo/lumbar privacy panel deck thing the old Greek owners left me on my deck. Went to Lowes, grabbed new decorative frame rails, new decorative frame panels. Doing a proper privacy panel. Also grabbed a Resin Garden Shed from Costco. Need to find a level foundation

Mapped out the sprinklers needed to cover my front and back lawn then ordered all the parts for it. Going to start trenching this week, most of it looks easy except for trying to go under my front sidewalk. Likely going the makeshift hydro-drill route with a pvc pipe and a nozzle.

Had to climb under the deck to murder a wasp nest and while I was under there decided to clean up all the old building material that has been left behind.
Clean as a whistle under there now, and wasp free.

Went to pick up wood that is priced like gold for my deck privacy panel that I intend to tackle in the evenings this week.

    Yellow Balau.
