I've got a set of CIPA Clip On towing mirrors left over from my 2018 F150. Used a half dozen times, great shape. $45 for anyone that wants them.

Tremor xlt package or lariat? Been in a lariat the last 2 years, do I want a fun truck? Or a bells and whistles truck... both coming I'm around the same for price, most likely will have for 1.5 to 2 yrs.

@iambrianspilner
I haven't looked at trucks for a while, what even is the tremor package aside from wheels, lift and decals?

Leather/fabric seats with tremor imprinted, dual exhaust, leveling kits and suspension. I will lose my power tailgate, memory seating, ac seats, rear heated seats for my Voss water drinking son. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Zero chance I’d give up cooled seats, or memory seating. It would be like going back to 1997. I bet it comes with an old timey key you have to actually stick in the ignition too.
Yea not worth the trade. Gonna go witt the lariat in carbonized grey, last 4 have been white.

I can give up cooled seats (but I still like them). It's the heated wheel I couldn't give up.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

You get dual exhaust with BAP now and the same hood. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
You lose payload and max tow also with termor , but i like the orange accents.
Depands what you want the truck for, if you wanted a leveled truck with no hassle the tremor is a good way to go

"Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary… That’s what gets you."
It may be solved I’ll see him in a couple days. Last I heard they touched the harness somewhere and it was able to start, I believe it was along the wires not the actual connectors.
taking my '21 lariat in tomorrow for the intermittent front end grinding/rubbing noise. Seems to be doing it much more often now. This morning made the noise for a good 30 blocks on the way into work so hopefully they can recreate it tomorrow and actually do some diagnosis/repair. Super impressed with how reliable these trucks are with getting some type of hard part failure at 30k kms.
Tap, Rack, BANG!
Got another 3.5 overheating on hills and passing. Pulled out of Spruce Grove and saw 115° accelerating past traffic up to speed. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
This might be the same front end noise i hear every once in awhile on my 2017 Raptor. it's almost the same noise/feeling as a warped rotor (which it isn't, i've checked) ...but exactly like your describe as a grinding/rubbing harmonic feeling/noise while in 2Wd. Most likely the IWE (integrated wheel ends) issue? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

+1 for IWE. My 2004 had issues with that bad, seems to be more of a part design issue than the truck itself. Either way, Ford knows how common IWE failures are so I am surprised they've given you that much push back.

I don't know if the '21 IWE issues are better or worse since they swapped from vacuum to solenoids, but I still have no issues with it.
Dropped the truck off again for the auto updates. Apparently the ford engineers got back to them.

The answers is in, it actually was the connector for the wiring harness at the transmission. They didn’t charge him to repair it as they charged him for the previous fix. He’s happy as it’s been running since Friday with no issues. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
tech drove the truck and heard the noise. Said they have isolated it to either the differential or the hubs. That's great news because when I dropped it off 2 months ago I said "it sounds like differential or axle or hub noise"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
LOL
edit: OK so now they've narrowed to front diff. They are recommending an "overhaul to the diff"
Not sure if that means they will rebuild existing diff but seems a bit shitty since truck has 30k kms I would expect them to swap the diff for a new unit rather than rebuilding. LOL @ new diff @ 30k too. Still debating if I will hold onto this truck or dump it, bought the extended warranty so have lots of time to decide. If LT Trail Boss' start getting sold w/ discount from MSRP I'm probably jumping ship.
