What the East Village actually needs is a pub! The only place close to there is King Eddy and I wonder if it's even busy when there's not a concert or Flames game happening. So even people who live downtown don't go out.

We were actually chatting about this yesterday. It badly needs a pub, right now the only real place to stop is the old simmons building. The fact that the building next to it (the e-bike store) doesn't have a rooftop patio overlooking the river is a travesty.

If more concerts were at the Jub or Jack Singer, I wouldn't be upset about it. The acoustics are top-notch, especially in Jack Singer.

Sans fireworks would be sad though.
