You don't need to convince them they're idiots. The fact that they are idiots is how they were so easily influenced by pop culture to be enviro weenies to begin with. And as such they can be influenced the other way. Us common sense, fact based, logic types, keep thinking in terms of needing to educate these idiots. But they can't be educated.............. because they are idiots. They don't care about the facts or reality, they just want a cause to belong to, it helps shield their insecurity. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Qatar just left OPEC, albeit a small oil producer but major gas producer. Does anyone think OPEC could fall apart over the next couple of years?
What do you guys think these trains will do for our pricing differential? Is the extra little capacity enough to stimulate some price change?

Trains are a fart in the tub, apportionment on the other hand essentially solves the problem overnight.

Trains might help a tiny bit just for the ability to move more product. But it still leaves us only the US as a customer. The only hope for survival is to get the stuff to water so we can open up new markets. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The number of rail cars that will be retired next year is pretty similar to the number Rachel is buying. This isn't going to make much of a difference at all. I do however hope they are painted with the Alberta flag. Would look badass.

A Ferrari is a high maintenance chick, you spend money regardless of what you do with her. You can baby the C63, or slap on all seasons, and you won't be spending anything but yearly maintenance. Of course that's like dating a stripper and refusing to fuck her, which would make you gay.

And where is there a crude ship loading terminal over there? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If we could get it out to New Brunswick to get refined it would be a start. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Irving is a refinery. The wrong coast is a hell of a lot farther to go, which greatly increases rail transportation costs. But sure, anything is better than nothing. Building a loading terminal? That's a massively expensive undertaking to support the small amount of volume rail is likely to move for us. Logistically I'm not sure something like that would make sense. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I can tell you that Irving would love to have some Alberta oil out east. Source: Irving is one of my clients.
Irving can feel free to throw their weight around out there to get a pipeline built then.

They've quietly lobbied the gov't before. They do realize that Trudeau is a total dimwit. He also doesn't make any policy decisions for the party. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hold on. Does ANYONE think that Trudeau is making any sort of actual decisions?
