    Default R34 GT-R: $75,000

Pretty immaculate build, but what a price No other comparables on AutoTrader and haven't seen any other R34s for sale online yet. If I had the cash I'd probably entertain it due to the fanboy inside of me. Thoughts?

Lol, there's a lot of things I'd buy with $75k, and a R34 GT-R isn't one of them. Looks nice though!

Well, while I often scoff at people wanting unreasonable amounts for their "JDM ride" in this case I'll make an exception. This is not your typical zip tied body kitted hack project brought to you by your local "homeboyz-R-us". Car looks extremely well built, and is in fantastic shape. These cars are expensive to own and modify, and his asking price reflects that.

You're getting what you pay for with this machine IMO. Before anyone says "$75K for a 15 year old car??!" Find out first how difficult it is to locate a pristine example like this one and get it here, then modify it to the extent this one has been, and see if you still think $75 grand is a rip-off.

R34 prices are out to lunch here...

I should have bought a few of the back in 2010 when they were averaging low 30s to high 20s in Japan. I think I would have doubled my money by now...

Also consider that the States doesn't get them for another 10 years so you could lease them to rich people in San Fran to live Tokyo Drift life.

I wouldn't call it a 'rip-off', but when you consider a 996 turbo can be had for half the money, it's difficult to argue that there's any sort of 'value' here.

I would be interested in a 1997 R33 GTR... lighter, bigger, faster. And maybe $20-25k tops for a minty one.

Its a collector car, people will pay stupid money for collectors cars in good condition. That doesn't necessarily make it fair market value. You are looking for a particular seller.

Watch barret jackson for some of the prices cars go for. Some not even that rare or cool.

Personally i think skylines are stupid. But i am not naive enough to think that everyone thinks that way.

    ^ Not the same.

This is just a modified R34 GTR. That is a very rare and highly desirable edition of Porsche. The 1973 RS's can sell for over a million. The 74-76 is different but I don't think that price is too crazy.

Pretty cool, would love to see it in person. For $75k though, I'll take an R35 thanks.

I would put these in the same category as NSX's. cool for what it WAS. now its just an outdated japanese "supercar" that overstayed its welcome. plus to go 20k for an r33, to this for very few advantages? pass.

Thought I saw one on Kijiji for about $40k not too long ago. 75k seems pretty crazy, I'd sooner get an 09/10 GTR for that money.

^Most stock ones go for around that price. Check the listing and see the mod list on this one.
