Any deals on Tiguan's?
2.0 with 6 speed manual. A Toureg deal would be nice, haven't seen too big of discounts on those.

You have to be fast, like catch it as soon as its listed and be there <1 hour fast
What's everyone's experience with deals being snapped up quickly? My parents sold their old Corolla a few years back for a few hundred bucks and there were 3 groups at their doorstep within the hour. Same scenario when I was looking to pick up a beater Acura EL. I showed up the same afternoon and there were like 5 families fighting over who would buy it lol.
Does this only happen for beaters or do great deals in the used luxury price range (let's say upwards of 20K) get snapped up just as quick?
My guess is that it's only for beaters or it also depends on how good the deal is. A $90k Porsche asking $80k probably won't disappear in 24 hours.Originally posted by Manhattan

Deals over 10k hang around a lot longer. So many people seem to be cash poor and need to finance anything over 5-10k and the banks won't finance old stuff like that. Selling stuff in the 20k+ range on Kijiji is a bitch, as 4/5 people say "I like it, let me go talk to my bank", which is cockroach code for "I don't have a hope in hell of buying this, but thanks for letting me drive it and waste your afternoon with my dreaming".
I have actually seen the opposite. ..seller is uneducated, posts their car for way to low. ..coworker contacts them, seller bs'es, the price goes up lol probably realizing that all the calls means they priced it too low. ..
Just saw a 2005 FX45 initially sell for 4700 obo and now it's up to 6700...,

Not bad, especially with our dollar.

Yes. Could be a late model build. Whatever the case, it's advertised as sold new - as in - warranty starts the day of sale.Originally posted by Xtrema
