How does it go….”fools and their money…” that’s a good bit more than I paid for my 1 ton
I’m sure they are very nice trucks.

They are being retro fitted by the dealer. All sensors are there, just need a chip and harness connected
The cheapest piece of crap I could find online at the dealer here in Cochrane was almost $70k. Ya, I turned off the computer and went to drink a beer instead of looking any further. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
A guy came and gave me my asking price of $1200 in cold hard cash for my old (but basically new) tires and factory rims. He showed up early and I bought the wrong lugnuts, so the truck sat overnight like a jalopy in the driveway on jackstands.
Thank god for Amazon next day. Put the hilariously bald used set of rims/rubber I picked up for $600. Going to try my hand at plastidipping them bronze or gold (I'm thinking a really matte charcoal-y bronze would look killer) as the black with machined accents is way too brodozer for me.
Still waiting on the new 305/65R18 tires to come in after my initial order of 295/70R18's was cancelled.

I’m trying to think of the last time I heard someone use the term Jalopy lol

Im looking for a truck in the next year and a half. That 2500 with 350k for 11k sounds like a steal. My brother in law just bought a 2011 ram 2500 with 300k kms on it for 20k
I wonder if truck prices will ever become un retarded. I have a soft spot for those Sierra AT4s but my wallet refuses to cooperate with me on it.
hahaha, Zechs that happened to me when i swapped my summers on this year, my good nuts were on my truck when i traded it in so i had non that fit the rims for the new truck.
Older cummins rams are pretty cheap and low km all things considered, probably because they are always broken. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
For some reason you can find 2006-2010 laramie cummins with 200k kms or less for under $30k.
No way you are getting a comparable dmax LTZ or denali for that price!
I just watched a youtube review video from 2016 that had a denali dually duramax clock in at $70k usd msrp lol

Since everyone has too much Ford love in the truck section, I'm going to keep the GM thread alive.
Before
After
I should have had the doors painted for an extra $200/door, but this was a good test. $800 cash later, I'm pretty happy with the outcome on the passenger bedside. Just need to 3M where the flare will rub now. Very much lipstick on a pig.
And the mpg is pretty good on the bigger tires.

Wow is that highway or city? Or combo? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There is approximately 0% chance that's city mileage, and probably 2% chance it's combo.
My wife's old RDX barely did better than that on the highway.
Maybe less than zero. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Ha, yep, all highway at 110. Gets about 13 in city driving, about 15 in heavy stop and go. Ecu has been recalibrated to the larger tires and speedo/odo gps verified. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
